2012 - Conservation Awareness

PLAN Jeffco raised awareness of the importance of conservation at the Annual Meeting by featuring author Dyana Furmansky, who reviewed her biography “Rosalie Edge, Hawk of Mercy.” Dyana discussed Edge’s early 1900’s advocacy which effectively influenced federal government policy to protect and conserve wildlife and natural resources.
