The Library section of our website is dedicated to archiving documents,  from PLAN Jeffco newsletters and OSAC meeting notes, to reports and studies, and previous initiatives pursued by PLAN Jeffco and our partners. 

PLAN Jeffco produces a newsletter several times a year to keep you abreast of all current initiatives and information to do with Jefferson County Open Space. Members receive the newsletter in hard copy; join now to receive the newsletter in your postal mail box.

The Jefferson County Open Space Master Plan is revised every five years. The purpose of the Open Space Master Plan is to set goals and objectives needed to ensure the continued success of the Open Space Program. The Master Plan, along with the Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC) and the Board of County Commissioners, guides Jefferson County Open Space in its direction and operation.

As part of our oversight function, PLAN Jeffco members attend the monthly Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC) meetings.

The Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC) is a ten member committee of citizens appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). The Open Space Advisory Committee works with Open Space staff and makes recommendations to the BCC regarding Open Space policies, procedures, and expenditures for new open space land acquisitions and maintenance of existing Open Space Parks throughout the year.
